MELTY. SILKY. GOODNESS. Alter Eco is based on the premise that food is fundamental to life – and whole, healthy, delicious food can make life better for people all over the world. Alter Eco works directly with small-scale farmers who grow our quinoa, rice, sugar and cacao, helping them institute Fair Trade and Organic practices and assist them in improving both quality of food and quality of life.

The Financial Empowerment Counselor is in!

We will have a Financial Empowerment Counselor from Bedford Stuyvesant Restoration available for one-on-one counseling sessions weekly at our location throughout season. The next scheduled visit is December 10, 2015. Please make your appointment by contacting hr@uncommongoods.com.
