The UG Sustainability Committee invites you to the first
volunteer event of the season! On Sunday, April 26th, from
11:00AM- 1:00PM we will take part in a lakeside clean up to support WILD
for Prospect Park in their efforts to ensure a safe and healthy environment for
all animals and plants that call the park home.
Interested in volunteering? RSVP by filling out the volunteer application here and email Sean Cullen to let us
know that you’re interested, plan to attend or have any additional questions.
We will meet on Sunday 4/26 at the lakeside near
Vanderbilt Street and Prospect Park Southwest, across from the barbecue area,
before beginning the clean-up.
Foreseeable questions:
Q: Do I get paid to volunteer?
A: If you’d like to log this event as part of your
paid 8 hours of volunteer time, contact Anita Cheung.
Q: Will there be refreshments?
A: UG will be providing snacks for after the event.
Q: Do you know what the weather will be like?
A: We’re not sure, but we hope for it to be mostly sunny
with a high chance of participation.
See you there!
