As you know, UncommonGoods partnered with Neighborhood Trust Financial Partners (NTFP) to provide a Financial Empowerment Counselor on site since the end of 2016. Ana, our financial empowerment counselor, will be continue to be on site monthly into the summer with her next visit on May 24th. NTFP's financial counselors can help with more than just credit repair and debt reduction - they can also help with long-term savings goal like home buying and retirement. If you have a question about our 401k program, they can connect you to the right resources. Similarly, NTFP can help you develop and manage a personal budget to ensure you always have some emergency savings available instead of relying on wage advancements.
As a reminder this service is completely free, confidential, and unbiased. NTFP has been helping New Yorkers achieve financial stability for over 20 years. Whatever financial goals you may have, NTFP can help you achieve them.
