Kat Guerrero has joined our team as the new Associate
Planner whose first day was Monday, April 6. Kat is a member of the Purchasing
team reporting and will plan the Children’s, Desktop, and Leisure categories.
Prior to joining UncommonGoods, Kat was an Assistant Buyer
at Bloomingdale's.com in Men’s Accessories, Men’s Collection, and Young World.
She loves working with numbers and logistics, and studied Operations Research
at Columbia University.
Kat’s Uncommon Fact? She was on a nationally ranked soccer
team in High School, but now can’t run a mile.
Rebekah Krikke is our new
Assistant Production Manager who started with us last month. Rebekah is a
member of the Product Development team. In her new role, Rebekah will work
with new and existing manufacturers in development and production, helping us
to keep our new product pipeline running smoothly and growth-oriented.
Rebekah previously worked as
Production Manager at a fair trade jewelry company that partners with artisans
in Ecuador and Vietnam. Prior to that, she worked as a Project Manager at
an organization that consults nonprofits on how to improve program
effectiveness. Rebekah loves cooking, exploring the city’s many
neighborhoods, and dabbling in random hobbies.
Rebekah’s Uncommon Fact? She
won a doughnut eating contest a few years back (which is even more impressive
considering she doesn’t like doughnuts or really anything too sweet).
